Higher Level Teaching Assistant (ALN)

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our Additional Learning Needs Department The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a love of learning and contributing to our dynamic and forward-thinking department.
The successful candidate will:
• care deeply for the wellbeing and academic success of all our pupils.
• be able to effectively support pupils with ASD;
• be able to effectively develop pupils’ literacy, numeracy and digital competency skills
• be highly motivated, inspire a love of learning and ensure all pupils achieve the highest possible academic standards.
• Be dynamic in the classroom and maintain very high standards of support;
• have excellent interpersonal skills, be a true team player and be adept at working independently;
• have excellent organisational skills and a strong work ethic.
• have a good working knowledge of current ALN legislation, procedures and inclusive, person-centred practices;
• contributes fully to providing extra-curricular opportunities;
• have a ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving.
