Role: SaaS Product Owner
Salary: £46,000 + Benefits (16% pension, blue light card)
Location: Remote first - Bournemouth HQ – 2 days per month on site
Sanderson have partnered with a fantastic organisation looking to introduce product as a practice and are looking for a Product Owner to own their cloud-based finance system migration as they embark on a 5-year digital transformation.
Experience Required:
* Experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst, with experience of managing internal and external suppliers and vendors.
* Experience gathering requirements and translating into actionable roadmaps
* Experience of SaaS lifecycles, vendor relationships and subscription-based platforms.
* Knowledge of data integration and automation.
* Excellent communication skills, team building and relationship management.
* Desirable – experience with Dynamics 365 platform
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with stakeholders across functions and ITS to define priorities for system enhancements and upgrades.
* Ensure configuration leverages cloud-native features and controls such as automated updates, security and compliance controls.
* Ensure that configuration change is effectively managed across the applications lifecycle, evaluating up-and downstream impacts and applying change management processes to ensure an excellent user experience for end users.
* Work with relevant data owners to drive and maintain an improved data quality score for our data, supporting data quality issues resolution as needed.
* Ensure that GDPR principles are considered at every stage of the data lifecycle, including retention and destruction.
* To take ownership of the day-to-day support and configuration of the Platform, providing second line support to investigate issues, and raising more complex requests to 3rd party support teams.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritise features and improvements, adopting agile methodology and working within the product and release roadmaps.
* Develop relationships and lead engagement activities with key internal and external stakeholders and vendors. Proactively understand vendor product roadmaps, facilitating conversations in advance of releases to ensure that features are optimised based on stakeholder need, release impacts are evaluated, and working with functional SMEs ensure that test / communication / training is in place to support releases.
* Ensure that decisions that affect the product are appropriate, align to design standards and conform to best practice.
* Empower functional system SMEs to undertake non-consequential system administration, including access management where appropriate.
