Job Description


* Directs traffic at the main entrances to ensure the driveway is instantly accessible at all times.

* To be entirely flexible and be able to rotate within different sub-departments of the Rooms Division or any other department of the hotel as assigned when required.

* To assist in the receipt and delivery of packages, flowers, or other items.

* To ensure that the storeroom for luggage is well maintained at all times.

* Check the daily arrival and departure reports (Nationality, Timing, Transportation).

* Transport guest luggage from the vehicle to luggage carts.

* Assist in locating guest's lost luggage.

* Correctly tag, store, and retrieve luggage from the luggage room.

* Identify and explain hotel facilities and features to guests while escorting them to their room.

* Identify the fire exit closest to the lobby area.

* Demonstrate the use of the room key to guests.

* Maintain accurate knowledge of scheduled functions within the hotel to direct guests to the correct locations.

* Maintain knowledge of local attractions and activities to recommend to guest inquiries.

* Provide accurate directions to guests regarding transportation within the local area.

* Answer the Bell stand telephone within 3 rings using correct greeting and telephone etiquette.

* Handle guest complaints by following the instant pacification procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction.

* Remain in the assigned post, maintaining the correct stance.

* Deliver daily newspapers to specified guest rooms.

* Monitor and maintain the appearance of lobby areas and luggage holding areas.

* Ensure confidentiality of hotel guests and security of guest information.

* Successfully complete the training/certification process.

* Assist the Bell Person with unloading and loading vehicles.

* Assist with parking and retrieving vehicles, ensure security of vehicle keys, and accurately record on vehicle claim tickets.

* Assist Concierge staff with guest requests and services.

* Promote environmental awareness by minimizing resource consumption, participating in activities organized to protect biological diversity, and sharing individual responsibilities to increase environmental knowledge. Provide necessary training to reduce usage of paper, printed materials, etc.

* Implement energy-saving measures within the department and monitor their effectiveness. Predict the environmental impact of equipment and activities.

* Properly handle waste to reduce environmental pollution and harmful effects.

* Carry out responsibilities related to quality management systems implemented at the facility.

* Perform all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management that are not specified in this job description.
