Main duties of the job
The post-holder participates in the provision of a high-quality Diagnostic Ultrasound Service to the Trust, supporting the superintendent radiographer in the day-to-day organisation of the department and accepting responsibility for designated areas of work.

Essential criteria
1. Post Graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
Experience/ Knowledge
Essential criteria
2. An up to date knowledge of current and emerging ultrasound techniques and relevant topics / professional issues.
Desirable criteria
3. Demonstrable operational management experience in the health service.
4. Knowledge of current policies and legislation affecting service delivery.
Skills/ Abilities
Essential criteria
5. High level of work organisation, self-motivation, drive for performance and improvement plus flexibility in approach and attitude.
