Igloo has a fantastic opportunity for an IPAF Scissor Lift Operator based in Coventry. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a large automotive and logistics company with operations worldwide, not just in the UK.
The Role:
As an IPAF Scissor Lift Operator, you will work in a busy warehouse environment and be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:
1. Operating the scissor lift truck at heights
2. Validating stock locations
3. Counting stock items and reporting discrepancies to the stock control team
4. Advising on issues related to stock quantities
5. Collaborating with the stock control team and working independently when needed
6. Organising and monitoring stock building and damage reports
7. Taking ownership of regular physical inventories
8. Using a hand-held scanner
What kind of person we are looking for:
* Excellent communication and mathematical skills
* Great attention to detail
* Ability to follow instructions from managers, supervisors, and team leaders
* Ability to work independently and use initiative
* Valid and up-to-date scissor lift license
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
