Bookkeeper – Accountancy Practice

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper with a passion for client service and a strong grounding in practice? We’re working with a long-established and highly reputable firm of accountants who are looking to welcome a confident and capable Bookkeeper to their friendly team.
The Role:
You’ll play a key role in supporting a varied portfolio of clients, delivering accurate and timely bookkeeping services while building trusted client relationships. Duties will include:
* Day-to-day bookkeeping for a range of clients across various sectors
* Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
* CIS administration and monthly Returns
* Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
* Supporting the payroll team when required
The Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail-focused, and client-centric. The ideal candidate will have:
* At least 2 years' experience within an accountancy practice
* Strong working knowledge of Xero and Sage
* Solid Excel skills
* Excellent communication abilities and a client-first approach
* Confidence to work independently and to deadlines
