About the Role
This is a permanent, part time role of 22.2 hours per week. The actual pro rata salary for this role is £17,277 to £18,316 per annum.
Leeds City College are recruiting for an Assessor to join out Adult, Community and ESOL team.
We are seeking an assessor to work on L3 assessor qualifications across various vocational departments. This role is ideal for someone who is fully qualified to assess these qualifications and who has a range of vocational assessment experiences.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Adult, Community & ESOL (ACE) department, which was graded Outstanding by Ofsted in February 2025. In 2024, there were over 5000 students, and a team of 200+ brought education and life-changing experiences to our learners.
What You Will Do
1. You will assess L3 assessor qualifications in a range of vocational departments.
2. You will ensure effective management of appointments, schedules and learner caseloads.
3. You will work across a variety of locations within Leeds City College.
About You
4. You will hold a Level 3 assessor qualification and have experience assessing the workplace competence of a range of teachers/assessors.
5. You will have current and up-to-date knowledge and experience of current assessment principles and practices.
6. Ideally, you will be experienced in the internal quality assurance of vocationally related programmes.
