Key Responsibilities:
• Raise and maintain purchase orders and scheduling agreements in line with MRP recommendations.
• Notify suppliers through the relevent channels of all new orders and call offs.
• Monitor order confirmations and record the information where applicable
• Manage the source list to ensure the use of approved supplier
• Manage collection and return of rejected materials
• Support the management of materials on launch and withdrawal
• Monitor supplier service level and report any service issues to manager
• Prompt communication to the relevent contacts of any supply and / or delivery issues
• Ensure that Customer Service is not adversely affected by supplier or material issues
• Support the Quality Manager in issues regarding material quality
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and internal contacts
• Penalties negotiations in terms of delays in unloading (bulks) and supplying of raw materials
• Supervision and work update on PUESC platform in order to avoid penalties for specyfic raw materials which were not registered with new transport directives on the territory of our country
• Customs clearence of chemical raw material and components (deliveries from UK and China)
• Searching new pallet suppliers, price negotiations and management
