Your Role and Responsibilities:
7. Lead and supervise the parts department team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
8. Manage stock levels through developing and implementing precise inventory control procedures
9. Oversee receipt, interpretation, and prompt despatch of parts to retail, trade, and workshop customers.
10. Conduct regular stock audits, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
11. Communicate with the senior management team regarding backorder issues, utilising the dealership’s escalation process.
12. Interact professionally with customers to understand requirements and assist in locating the right parts
13. Ensure vehicle health checks are accurately completed to maintain workshop efficiency
14. Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively, escalating unresolved issues as necessary.
15. Strive to deliver outstanding customer service consistently, both internally and externally.
Ideal Requirements for this Parts Supervisor role:
16. Proven experience within a main dealer parts environment, with supervisory responsibilities
17. Familiarity with Kerridge or similar dealership management systems
18. Knowledge of brand-specific parts and systems is highly desirable
19. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
20. Immaculate professional appearance aligned with dealership standards
21. Full UK Driving Licence
Additional Requirements:
22. Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday (Saturday rota paid as overtime)
23. Ability to maintain high standards of record keeping and customer service
