This is a wonderful opportunity to join my client, a trusted, green:minded Multidisciplinary Consultancy, dedicated to broadening their geographical reach by establishing a brand new office location in beautiful Scotland. Known for lending their expertise to a diverse range of projects across the landscape architecture, planning, and civil engineering fields, they are actively seeking a driven, experienced Senior Civil Engineer with extensive knowledge of infrastructure design, who is willing to take on a broad range of challenging projects. You will be working alongside a newly:established team of infrastructure design experts, based near the vibrant, artsy city of Glasgow.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
* Contributing to the design of a number of projects and developments
* Overseeing the day:to:day running of engineering projects, from inception through to successful delivery and implementation
* Mentoring and supporting colleagues in their development within the company
* Liaising with clients and stakeholders across the public and private sectors
* Preparing and checking technical documents, including reports, specifications, drawings, calculations, risk assessments, and method statements
* Adhering to company policies, procedures, and best practice, upholding the appropriate health and safety standards at all times
* Acting as a company representative at client meetings, site visits, and other events
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
* A UK Bachelors Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Possess Chartered Status with a recognised professional body (e.g., ICE)
* Experience of working in a design:based role, within a UK consultancy
* Considerable experience of working on infrastructure (especially highways and drainage), housing developments, and energy engineering projects
* Experience of earthworks and drainage network modelling
* Proficient in the use of various software packages (to include Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and others)
* Considerable experience of writing and checking a variety of technical documents
* Demonstrable experience of liaising with clients and stakeholders
* Excellent organisation, time management, team leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
* A UK Masters Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Experience of authoring Flood Risk Assessments
* Experience of preparing Transport Assessments
* Experience of leading projects/teams
* Experience of working in a public:facing role
* Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
