We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Planner to join our Logistics Team, based at our Cambridge and Ely sites. Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Senior Planner will be responsible for executing planning activities for the manufacture and supply of materials and finished goods This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 3 days a week being based in the office. Responsibilities Ensure operations can run smoothly through overseeing and executing demand, supply, manufacturing and distribution plans Track activities through manufacturing and logistics Minimise the impact of supply chain shortages, facilitating recovery plans where required Contribute to planning of all functions across Operations Co-ordinate the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle, maintaining the 18-24 month demand/supply plans Proactive ‘hands-on’ management balancing near term demand and supply across all geographical regions targeting zero disruption to surgical activities Understanding and assessing impact of change control process across operations, as well as facilitation of the implementation Take an active role in the Netsuite development in the Operations function Manage cross functional projects where appropriate Proactive support to develop other Planners We’re a rapidly developing company and roles can change and evolve. You’ll be willing to turn your hand to anything within the Logistics remit that supports the team with delivering its objectives.
