Robert Half are exclusively partnering with a global, market-leading consumer business to recruit a Sales FP&A Manager for their UK & Ireland operation based in Slough.
This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the UK & Ireland Finance Director, leading and modernising the Sales FP&A and commercial finance partnering capability. The business is a recognised leader within its category, with strong retail partnerships and a rapidly expanding D2C channel - making this a genuinely commercial and forward-looking opportunity.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the heart of the commercial organisation. You'll be the key finance partner to Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and D2C teams, driving better forecasting, stronger insight, and more robust decision-making across revenue and margin performance.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading the sales budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning cycles
2. Building scenario models and sensitivity analysis to support commercial decisions
3. Improving forecast accuracy and strengthening financial rigour
4. Delivering clear, insightful reporting on sales, gross margin and channel performance
5. Supporting trade investment decisions and ROI analysis
6. Representing Finance on strategic projects (ecommerce growth, channel profitability, commercial policy, retail expansion)
7. Driving continuous improvement across FP&A tools, reporting and processes
What We're Looking For
8. Strong FP&A or commercial finance background, ideally within FMCG, retail or consumer products
9. Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability (SAP advantageous)
10. Strong grasp of P&L drivers, margin levers and retail economics
11. Confident business partner - able to challenge constructively and influence senior stakeholders
12. Proactive, analytical and solutions-focused mindset
13. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
