About the Role: This full-time, term-time position would suit someone who is patient, proactive, and motivated to make a real difference. You will work closely with pupils, class teachers, and the SEN team to support learning, promote positive behaviour, and help pupils overcome barriers to education. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver 1:1 and small group support for pupils with diverse SEN, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and physical or sensory needs. • Support the implementation of individual education plans, helping pupils work towards their targets. • Assist in adapting learning materials and activities to ensure accessibility for all learners. • Promote emotional wellbeing, social development, and positive behaviour strategies. • Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals to ensure consistent support. • Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment. • Contribute to progress monitoring, observations, and review meetings. What We’re Looking For: • Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable. • A calm, compassionate, and resilient approach. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. • A genuine commitment to supporting children with additional needs. • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one. • SEN-related training or qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
