Birkbeck, University of London, is looking to recruit a part-time, fixed-term Associate Lecturer to teach this Summer 2026.
Joining the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, you would teach on the following module:
3. Software and Programming I, BUCI087H4 – Level 4
4. April - July 2026
5. Teaching evenings 6-9pm, Term 2.
Your role will be to deliver teaching to Birkbeck students, in order to enable them to complete their studies successfully, and to undertake all related course administrative duties as required.
You will have knowledge of and experience in the above module and be qualified to the corresponding level of the award as required to teach (or demonstrate equivalent professional/industry level experience).

Remuneration:
This hourly rate is based on the starting point of Grade 7 and is inclusive of a ‘Duties Related to Teaching Multiplier’ at, which covers preparation, teaching, administration, assessment marking and other examining duties in connection with the course.
