(We cannot sponsor or support VISA applicants).The RoleWe are seeking a senior, results-driven sales leader to drivegrowth across Automation and Products & Equipment (P&E).
You will lead a team of 10+, own the full sales lifecycle, and deliver large, complex projects while building a strong, sustainable pipeline aligned to regional strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach and develop a high-performing sales teamDeliver order intake, revenue and margin targetsOwn the bid/no-bid process and full sales lifecycleBuild strategic key accounts and drive new business opportunitiesMaintain a robust pipeline of high-value opportunitiesRecruit, develop and performance-manage top talentEnsure strong sales governance, forecasting and reportingMust-Have RequirementsProven leadership experience in a regional/national sales role (team size 10+)Intralogistics experience at a similar scale and complexity (current or within the last 5 years)Demonstrated success in selling complex projects £35m+ (ideally £75m+) within the last 3 yearsStrong track record of building, developing and leading high-performing teamsExperience managing the full lifecycle of complex, solution-based salesCommercially astute with strong focus on revenue, margin and risk managementHighly driven with ambition to progress into future leadership rolesSkills, Knowledge & ExperienceDegree-level qualificationStrong intralogistics/automation industry experienceConfident engaging with stakeholders at all levelsStrategic and analytical mindsetAbility to deliver results within defined timescalesStrong financial awareness of project performanceSolid understanding of automation technologies and their application across industriesPrevious line management experienceProficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)Full UK driving licence required (company car provided)About Us:Wills Consultants is an independent recruitment consultancy specialising in engineering, finance and office professionals.
