Job Description:
As HSE Manager, based out of the head office in Lisburn with some travel, you will be responsible for the overall management of safety compliance processes.
Our client specializes in no-dig engineering services, pipeline investigation, and repair in the utility sector. Due to major contract awards in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, and Scotland, they are looking to add a HSE Manager who will work in conjunction with the Operations Manager and Director to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
If you are a self-starter with 5-10 years of progressive HSE experience, then this could be your next move. You will also need strong people skills, the ability to motivate and empower, to be a strong communicator, and to take initiative and function independently.

As HSE Manager, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Providing knowledge and education on Health and Safety regulations in coordination with business leaders.
* Communicating and reviewing company HSE policies.
* Managing safety management databases.
* Providing problem resolution resulting in process or project improvements.
* Applying knowledge independently to resolve problems promptly.
* Contributing to problem identification and solutions through analysis.
* Assisting in building Platform training documents.
* Owning regional emergency preparedness processes.
* Managing workplace incidents to resolution.
* Creating, managing, and reviewing site-specific safety plans.
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
* 5-10 years of progressive Health, Safety, and Environmental experience.
* Experience working with regulatory agencies, external auditors, and internal clients.
* Safety training experience.
* Knowledge of company drug and alcohol policies.
* Ability to work with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
* Ability to plan and implement process projects timely.
* Skills to read, analyze, and interpret business and technical documents, and to draft reports and procedures.
* Ability to perform basic calculations and apply statistical, algebraic, and geometric concepts.
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret various instructions and variables in situations with limited standardization.
