Location: Kents Bank Road, Grange-over-Sands, LA11 7EY

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract: 22‑39 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: A mix of opening, closing, and mid‑day shifts with flexibility across the week, including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift. Either Friday after 6pm, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday. Availability can be discussed further at interview.

About the role

As a Customer Team Leader you will manage the day‑to‑day running of the store, leading a small team in a fast‑paced Co‑op store. Depending on the store you may work in the post office, bakery, support online services, or coordinate with home delivery drivers. You will play a key role in making life easier for customers and supporting community engagement.

What you’ll do

• Own the day‑to‑day running of the store by leading the team on your shift
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations
• Work hands‑on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes
• Champion Co‑op through community engagement and membership growth
