A Sr. Loan Services Representative job is available with the City of Fort Worth, Neighborhood Services Department, Administration & Financial Services. This position performs duties for the City of Fort Worth's Homebuyer Assistance Program (HAP). The duties for this position include:
* Assisting first-time homebuyers with down payment and closing costs for the purchase of a home in an efficient and timely manner.
* Assisting customers with loan payment information and billing questions regarding their loans and escrow accounts.
* Assisting homebuyers, lenders and title companies with information regarding the Homebuyer Assistance Program (HAP).
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration or related field
* Four (4) years of direct real estate loan experience, loan analysis, loan servicing, loan underwriting, and loan monitoring with a lending institution
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experienced with mortgage loan underwriting, mortgage loan processing, and program compliance (i.e. HUD and other federal regulations) for all mortgage loans processed
* Hands-on experience with Northridge Loan System (NLS)
* Valid Texas Real Estate License
* Valid Texas Notary Public Certificate
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Bilingual
The Sr. Loan Services Representative job responsibilities include:
* Marketing the Homebuyer Assistance Program (HAP) to community organizations, other housing non-profit agencies, lenders and prospective homebuyers
* Reviewing prospective homebuyer application files to ensure all HAP guidelines are met
* Verifying loan calculations and determining credit worthiness of loan approval
* Preparing and filing lien and legal documents for the transfer of property
* Preparing client files after closing to ensure documents are available for review
* Processing and printing billing statements for customers
* Preparing and distributing monthly and yearly statistical and IRS reports and statements for management, the IRS and clients
* Handling surveys, environmental reviews and appraisals
* Preparing closing documents such as subordinate deed, note and other HAP agreements
* Preparing and processing lien releases, pay-off statements and subordinations
* Working closely with lenders and title companies for accuracy of document submission
WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a desk job that primarily involves sedentary, indoor office work focused on computer usage, administrative tasks, and communication, usually adhering to standard, consistent hours.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is a sedentary position that involves performing duties primarily while seated or standing with minimal, occasional walking or lifting (usually under 10 lbs.). Primary tasks will involve desk work, computer usage, phone, and administrative duties. The physical demand will involve sitting for up to 4 hours, with occasional walking/standing (not more than 2 hours).
