About the organisation
Reigate Hill Golf Club is a thriving and welcoming club set within the stunning Surrey Hills. With a strong community of members and a steady flow of visitors, we pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality experience both on and off the course.
We are now looking for a friendly and reliable Golf Shop Sales Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our busy golf operation.
Key responsibilities
* Manage the golf shop and support daily operations.
* Handle tee time bookings and respond to customer enquiries.
* Welcome golfers and sign-in members for competitions.
* Assist with first tee management to ensure smooth flow of play.
* Process retail sales, including golf balls, gloves, hats and accessories.
* Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
* Support the golf manager with general operational duties.
Skills and experience
* A positive, friendly and professional attitude.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Good organisational and communication abilities.
* An interest in golf is preferred but not essential.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Proactive approach with the ability to use initiative.

Working hours
* Shifts worked on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays.
* Summer hours are typically between 7:30 am and 7:00 pm.
* Winter hours typically are between 7:30/8:00 am and 2:30/3:00 pm.
