Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Assist and encourage socialisation by participating in activities.
Enable the individual to learn about safety, including dangers when getting in/out of a car or crossing the road.
The individual's needs may vary daily; tasks may reflect this. Other duties may be assigned as reasonably required. You must report all accidents immediately and report hazards or defects that could cause accidents. Ensuring the safety of the individual at all times is your responsibility.
This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs covered). Transport requirement: Must be a car driver and owner with business insurance.

* Experience with neurological disorders such as absences would be advantageous.
Role Details
Support a young male with community activities he enjoys, such as trampolining (including participating), bowling, cinema, and crazy golf. The individual has Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, dyspraxia, sensory processing/modulation disorder, hypermobility, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. He is articulate, loves discussing his interests, and has an extensive collection of rocks, fossils, and gemstones. He enjoys gaming on his Nintendo Switch, building Lego models, and drawing as a calming activity. Occasionally, he may display challenging behaviors, and experience with such situations would be highly beneficial.
Support is needed on Saturdays, with potential full-day support during school holidays, including Wednesdays. The specific schedule will be discussed during the interview.
