Overview
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for operational excellence and people management? My client is seeking a dynamic and highly organised Practice Manager to lead its Operations team and help shape the future of our thriving multi-office law firm.
With around 120 staff across five East Sussex locations, this pivotal role supports the Managing Partner and oversees key functions including HR, facilities, IT, health & safety, training, legal compliance, finance, and payroll.
Responsibilities
* Leading recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
* Managing office operations and facilities across all branches
* Ensuring health & safety compliance and risk management
* Overseeing supplier relationships and contract negotiations
* Driving staff wellbeing and training initiatives
* Supporting payroll, pensions, and insurance administration
* Contributing to strategic planning and delivering key projects
Requirements
* Proven experience in professional services operations
* HR (law firm experience preferred) qualification to CIPD
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills
* A proactive, adaptable mindset with sound judgment
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
