Job Title: Resident Liaison Officer (Freelance Contract)
Location: Enfield (Social Housing Project)
Rate: £18.50 per hour
Contract: 3 Months (with option to go permanent)
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join a social housing refurbishment project based in Enfield. This is a freelance contract position offering £18.50 per hour for an initial 3-month period, with a strong opportunity to transition into a permanent role.
This is a key position acting as the main point of contact between residents, site teams, and the client, ensuring clear communication and a smooth delivery of works within occupied properties.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as the primary liaison between residents and the site team
2. Provide clear communication regarding planned works, schedules, and access requirements
3. Arrange and attend resident consultation meetings
4. Manage and resolve resident queries and complaints professionally and efficiently
5. Support vulnerable residents and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed
6. Maintain accurate records of all resident interactions
7. Work closely with site managers and project teams to ensure minimal disruption
8. Carry out pre-start visits and post-work satisfaction surveys
Requirements
9. Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer within social housing or refurbishment projects
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
11. Ability to manage difficult situations calmly and professionally
12. Good administrative and IT skills
13. Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
14. Full UK driving licence (preferred)
