Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements
Utilise various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and FCAW to assemble components
Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
Perform measurements using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision in fabrication
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
Proven experience in fabrication or manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and soldering
Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
Experience with basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and various machinery effectively
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues
