Are you an experienced electromechanical engineer, looking to join a company who will provide long term progression and exciting opportunities to work on bespoke machinery and equipment?
This company are a well-established manufacturing and servicing company who provide maintenance support and bespoke solutions to a multitude of manufacturing industries. Their products are used across the FMCG, logistics, and food sectors supporting high-performance operations worldwide.
In this role, you will take ownership of bespoke engineering projects, designing customised mechanical solutions based on customer requirements. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, and project managers to ensure designs are delivered accurately and efficiently from concept through to manufacture.
This role would suit a design engineer that is experienced in SolidWorks, looking to join a well-established business who will provide ongoing training and varied projects to work on.
Role Summary
* Design customised mechanical products based on customer requirements
* Produce design, assembly, and manufacturing drawings
* Generate BOMs and obtain costings at the initial design stage
* Coordinate with project managers to ensure project delivery
* Support product performance checks during initial production
The Person
* Degree in Engineering or similar
* Experience in Sheet Metal fabrication
* Confident in SolidWorks
* Full UK Driving Licence
