Assistant Planner
Bedford
An excellent opportunity has become available for an Assistant Town Planner to join an established planning and development consultancy in Bedford. The team currently offer a wide variety of property management and planning services to their clients who include land owners and housebuilders.
For this role it is anticipated that the successful Town Planner will:
1. Have a BSc / MSc (or equivalent) in an appropriate planning related discipline
2. Be MRTPI qualified (or close to achieving this)
3. Have some previous planning experience
4. Hold a full UK driver’s licence
Duties:
5. Preparing and submitting complex planning applications and appeals
6. Undertaking the strategic promotion of land through the local plan process
7. Liaising with clients and local authorities
8. Preparing reports and statements
