Overview
SimpliWiFi is a Leominster based Independent IT Management and Cloud Solutions Partner that specialises in supplying Hardware, IT Support, and Cloud Connectivity Services to businesses throughout the UK. With over 25 years of experience in IT Support for Windows, Apple, Linux and Cloud Environments, we identify clients’ issues to fix them quickly. We support clients with both Remote and Onsite IT Services.
Responsibilities
* Answering and completing IT Support tickets/helpdesk tickets raised by Support clients
* Office 365 console administration
* Helping with email migrations
* Onboarding new clients
* Support sales team with technical queries
* Social media support
* Setting up hardware for clients e.g. laptops, desktops, printers etc.
* Assisting in IT projects
* Follow SimpliWiFi IT policies and procedures
* Answering phone calls and passing on messages
* Any ad hoc duties given by other members of the team
Skills
* Good communication skills – both written and verbal
* Confident in using Google Docs, Sheets, and GMail
* Confident web browsing
* Teamwork and the ability to work under own initiative
* Flexibility with hours if jobs run over etc.
* Able to work under pressure in a busy fast-paced environment
* Problem solving skills
* Having a driving license is preferable; if you do not, you must be able to get to/from the offices in Leominster, Herefordshire

Entry Requirements
The entry requirements for this IT Support Engineer programme are as follows:
* 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
* GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject. You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance, you could still be considered for the programme. If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
