Marketing & Events Executive required for an exciting opportunity that will see the successful candidate take a pivotal role in the launching and ongoing promotion of a new, luxury, hospitality location that will be available for lunch and dinner as well as weddings, private hire and corporate bookings.
Our fast paced family run client has a successful, expanding portfolio of hospitality locations.
About the Role
Supporting the Group Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive will be responsible for:
· Social media – creating content, publishing it and community management
· Website – content creation and management Influencer/VIP marketing
· Events – working with the GM on management and marketing of all events
· Help deliver a local marketing plan including local pr activity
· Build and manage B2B relationships on the Island and beyond
· Establish the location as the ‘go to’ wedding and events space on the Island
About You
We’re looking for an experienced marketer with a ‘can do’ attitude and ambition. You will be a competent and confident copywriter, who enjoys creating content. Ability to work within a team, execute a plan and spot opportunities to improve. You will be organised and process driven with a creative eye.
Our ideal candidate will have a background in B2C marketing, preferably within the events, retail or hospitality industries. Experience of Mailchimp and social media management needed.
