Little St Johns Surgery in Woodbridge are looking to recruit a an enthusiastic practice paramedic to join our clinical team for 15 hours a week. This will be working across 5 days with flexible hours suited to the individual. Working closely within a multidisciplinary team, t he main responsibilities of the role include: Provide clinical support to the clinical team and will work closely with all staff to provide healthcare for our patients Undertake home visits for our patients Help support the GP team with the management of care home patients Refer patients as appropriate to other members of the multidisciplinary team, secondary care and to other relevant care providers Support the clinical team with additional duties as required For further information, please see the job description attached. About the Candidate If you are an experienced paramedic wanting a new challenge, we would love to hear from you. You will have the following skills and experience: Be a registered paramedic, with current HCPC registration Be able to effectively assess, plan, treat and refer patients. Be able to evaluate patient care confidently. Have experience of working to protocols and guidelines. Exhibit excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Have the ability to make clear decisions with confidence and communicate these effectively. Experience of autonomous practice working and multi-professional team working. Demonstrate a broad and sound knowledge of complex and common conditions in primary care in both adults and children.
