The Vacancy
Dougie Mac is seeking a Compassionate and Skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our innovative Community Team. This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality palliative and end-of-life care across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will:
* Deliver holistic, person-centred care for patients with life-limiting illnesses (e.g. cancer, MND, heart failure, lung disease).
* Work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team, coordinating care and supporting patients and their families at home.
* Contribute to service development, audits, and education of colleagues.
* Use your leadership and communication skills to act as a patient advocate and role model in palliative care.

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* A Registered Nurse with at least 3 years' post-registration experience.
* Experienced in palliative or end-of-life care.
* Skilled in communication, leadership, and teamwork.
* Motivated, flexible, and committed to delivering the highest standards of care.
* A car owner/driver (essential for community visits).
* A development Clinical Nurse Specialist role would be considered for the right candidate

Salary: £37,000 - £48,000 FTE per annum
Development Clinical Nurse Specialist: £34,000 - £37,000 FTE per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours a week (part time considered - 30 hours)
Predominantly Monday to Friday 9-5. Will be required to cover weekends to a rota.
