One of our partnered companies are looking to add to their commercial team! We are working with a building and civils contractor in Southeast England. This role is primarily focused on the commercial management of a variety of active projects within their frameworks, encompassing building refurbs, road / motorway maintenance, and support in delivering railway projects.
In this role, you will be pivotal in overseeing the financial aspects of construction projects from start to finish. Your duties will span across estimating, budgeting, cost planning, procurement, and overseeing contract agreements.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and sustain project financial plans, ensuring consistent cost oversight.
Analyse and provide feedback on current project schedules, delivering precise financial predictions.
Manage the assembly, evaluation, and submission of financial requests to clients.
Assess and negotiate terms and agreements with vendors and subcontractors.
Oversee the adjustments, valuations, and final account settlements for both clients and suppliers.
Work in tandem with project teams to offer cost-related guidance and project viability analyses.
Perform routine site visits to assess progress and verify adherence to technical specifications and regulations.
Generate and deliver progress summaries, financial reports, and other necessary documentation.
