We are working with a Secondary School in Oxford who are looking for a full time English Teacher to join there team from September 2025. The school are part of a multi academy trust and are looking for an English Teacher who can join the school and be a driving force to maintain the standards and ethos of the school Duties as English Teacher: Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that stretch and support all learners Prepare students for GCSE examinations with a focus on high achievement and progress Contribute to the wider life of the department, including extra-curricular clubs, trips, and events Participate in curriculum development and whole-school literacy initiatives Ideal English Teacher: QTS/QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification A degree in English or a closely related subject Recent experience as an English Teacher in a mainstream Secondary School Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for literature and writing Excellent classroom management and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment as an English Teacher.
