An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Marking and Results Capability team for a Senior Agile Project Manager to plan and manage the activities required to accelerate the development of AI technologies used in our English language exams and learning products.
About the role
As Senior Agile Project Manager you will plan and manage the activities required to accelerate the development, enhancement, evaluation and implementation of our capabilities for automated English language assessment and learning, powered by machine learning and other AI technologies. This portfolio will include foundational research, evaluation studies, training of machine-learning models, building of data pipelines, and deployment of operational systems.
Key accountabilities
* Work closely with senior members of the team and other business stakeholders to define and analyse high-level roadmaps and dependencies for the provision of automated language assessment and learning capabilities.
* Develop and iteratively refine a prioritised plan of projects of varying size and complexity.
* Collaborate with engineers, researchers and other team members in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and tracking and reporting progress.
* Evaluate new requests against existing priorities and backlogs.
* Establish good practices and agile ways of working across the team.
* Work with Legal, Procurement and Finance teams to ensure that the necessary contracts and processes are in place when working with external suppliers.
About you

You will have the communication and organisational skills required to deal with multiple stakeholders, sometimes with conflicting priorities, and to plan schedules and workloads to meet inflexible targets.
