A newly created opportunity for a high-calibre Financial Planning Analyst to join a global consumer products organisation with a manufacturing and distribution footprint.
This role sits close to the commercial engine and will partner across Sales, Supply Chain and Operations to improve forecasting accuracy, profitability visibility and working capital outcomes. This position will also collaborate with global FP&A stakeholders to ensure alignment, consistency and decision-ready reporting.
Key focus areas include
* Develop and uplift budgeting, forecasting and long range planning processes
* Deliver clear variance analysis with drivers, explanations and recommended actions
* Analyse sales performance by customer, channel and product, turning data into decisions
* Build customer and channel profitability views, including pricing, promotions and margin performance
* Drive inventory, stock turns and working capital insight across the supply chain
* Develop and maintain management reporting and dashboards to track financial and operational KPIs
* Prepare board and senior leadership reporting and conduct ad hoc commercial analysis
* Collaborate with global FP&A stakeholders to align reporting standards and cadence
About You
* You are commercially minded, analytically sharp and comfortable influencing non finance stakeholders. You bring strong ownership and a high standard of accuracy, with the ability to translate complex information into a story leaders can act on.
* You will likely have
o Degree qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
o Seven plus years experience in FP&A, commercial finance or financial analysis
o Experience in a sales led environment, ideally manufacturing, distribution or consumer products
o Advanced Excel and strong modelling capability with large datasets
o Exposure to Power BI and SQL, plus confidence working with an ERP, NetSuite ideal
o Strong stakeholder management skills, including working across global teams
