Overview
To manage comprehensively the day to day running of the engineering team in the Staffordshire, North West & North of England. Ensuring the team strives for and exceeds expectations on service excellence through first class management, leadership, customer focus, training and development. Implement planned preventative maintenance programme ensuring efficient use of time and resource and at the same dealing with the reactive element as and when required,
Responsibilities
* Control of area PPM and maintenance activity, working on CAFM (Concept) systems at engineer and management level. Preparing and submitting quotations for all remendial works.
* Manage all PPM and reactive activities across the North of England portfolio.
* Ensure legislative compliance in relation to Health and Safety for all operational activitiy in your area, raising hazard observations a monthly basis.
* Ensure that operations achieve specified KPI's and SLA's in accordance with contractual requirements
* Manage the North of England portfolio engineering teams including performance management of all individuals.
* Attend and manage internal & external audits across the North of England.
* To carry out the management of planned and reactive maintenance work to M&E/Fabric services, testing of electrical DC, LV and HV power and distribution services including repairs and additional work instructed by the client and Concept tasks, approved by the Northern Regional Manager.
* Carry out plant condition surveys and plant replacement for all plant throughout the portfolio, preparing and submitting quotations to the client as required.
* Prepare monthly MCR report on all risks, opportunities, exceptions and reportable incidents for your operational area to the Northern Regional Manager.
* Prepare, document and maintain emergency procedures for all perceived events within Vodafone ensuring regular testing is undertaken.
* Play a key role in the disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Ensuring processes and procedures are suitable for all occurrences and undertake formal and regular testing of these.
* Deliver diverse projects on time, on budget and to total client satisfaction.
* Performance manage all specialist M&E contractors including contracts renewal process
Qualifications
* Qualified in a Building Services discipline (Essential)
* Experience in M&E building Services management roles.
* Experience of working in a FM contract
* Prefered experience in the Management of Critical System Infrastructure.
* Have an excellent understanding of Health and Safety with IOSH/NEBOSH Certification being an advantage.
* Familiar with standard MS Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
