Overview
Quest is recruiting on behalf of a professional nursery in the Isle of Man for an experienced Estate Garden Supervisor to support the production of temperate plants. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous experience working in a professional nursery environment and confidence managing day-to-day plant production tasks to a high standard.
Responsibilities
* Following seed sowing protocols
* Pricking out seedlings
* Potting up and potting on
* Watering and feeding crops
* Maintaining healthy, high-quality plant production
* Supporting general nursery operations as required
* Fully on-site team support for routine duties with the role requiring independence and professional nursery experience
Requirements
* Previous experience in a professional nursery environment
* Good plant husbandry and propagation skills
* Reliable, practical, and organised approach
* Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
Package and Benefits
* £40,000–£45,000 pro rata, depending on experience
* 40-hour working week
* Potential assistance with temporary accommodation
* Immediate start available, subject to Isle of Man work permits
