Join Our Team of Academic Competition Champions!
Are you passionate about biology and experienced in high-level academic competitions? Have you competed in, coached, or taught for Olympiads such as the USABO or IBO? We’re looking for exceptional mentors with deep expertise in college-level biology who are eager to inspire the next generation of competitors.
As a Biology Competition Mentor, you’ll work with talented students from around the world, helping them master advanced biology concepts and problem-solving techniques that lead to top results in national and international Olympiads.
What You'll Be Responsible For
* Delivering high-quality, rigorous tutoring sessions in advanced biology for students preparing for Biology Olympiads and related competitions.
* Customizing instruction to each student’s level and competition goals, with a focus on analytical thinking and mastery of complex biological systems.
* Using your Olympiad expertise to teach problem-solving methods, lab-based reasoning, and conceptual connections across genetics, physiology, ecology, and molecular biology.
* Maintaining consistent communication with students between sessions — reviewing progress, setting study targets, and offering guidance on practice exams or materials.
What We Are Looking For
* Deep knowledge of college-level biology (Olympiad-level mastery required).
* Experience in USABO, IBO, or similar national/international Olympiads — as a competitor, tutor, or instructor.
* Master’s degree required; exceptional Bachelor’s graduates from Top 15 US / Top 10 UK universities may also be considered.
* Demonstrated ability to simplify complex topics and motivate students under competitive pressure.
* Strong communication, organization, and mentoring skills, with at least 10 hours of availability per week.
* Passion for education, academic rigor, and helping students reach elite performance standards.
Why Join Us
* Work with driven, high-achieving students across the US, UK, Asia, and beyond.
* Fully remote, flexible hours, and global community of top-tier educators.
* Opportunity to make real impact — guiding the next generation of Olympiad medalists.
