Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
* Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities.
* Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation.
* Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene practices within the kitchen.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to implement new cooking techniques and menu items.
* Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
* Comprehensive knowledge of food production processes and culinary techniques.
* Excellent cooking skills with an emphasis on food preparation and presentation.
