Position: Supported Living Accommodation Team Leader
Responsibilities:
Team Supervision and Coordination:
Direct and supervise the day-to-day activities of the team within the supported living accommodation.
Ensure adherence to established protocols, policies and guidelines to maintain a high standard of care for residents.
Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting effective communication and cooperation among team members.
Training and Development:
Conduct thorough onboarding for new team members and support workers, coordinating comprehensive training suitable for their roles, responsibilities, and the principles of supported living.

Safety and Organisation:
Establish and maintain a safe working environment, identifying and addressing potential hazards promptly.
Organise and implement safety protocols and procedures, ensuring the well-being of both residents and staff.
Oversee the organisation of resources, equipment, and supplies to optimise efficiency and effectiveness in daily operations.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
Work closely with other departments, such as management, therapists and administration, to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to resident care and facility management.
Collaborate on cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance overall service delivery and resident satisfaction.
Resident Advocacy and Support:
* Advocate for the needs and preferences of residents, acting as a liaison between residents and the support team.
* Address and resolve any concerns or issues raised by residents promptly and in accordance with established policies.
* Attend resident reviews to provide valuable feedback on resident progress during placement.
* Collaborate with activity coordinator/therapist and key workers to ensure regular sessions are aligned with resident care plans
Performance Management:
* Conduct regular supervision and recording for team members, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for professional growth.
* Implement strategies to motivate and inspire team members, fostering a positive work environment.
* Oversee the writing of weekly resident summaries to document and communicate individual progress.
Administrative Tasks:
Oversee administrative tasks related to team scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care plans and team activities.
Continuous Improvement:
Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement in service delivery and operational efficiency.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, integrating new knowledge into the supported living accommodation's operational framework.
