We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join the team at HMP Lancaster Farms, a Category C male resettlement prison located on the outskirts of Lancaster.
About the Role

Hours
This is a part time role, working 30 hours per week. Shifts are between Monday and Friday, 08:00 - 16:00.
Salary
Annual salary of £29,264 - £33,510 (FTE) depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK and, due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
* Lead a team of 3 Administrators plus 1 Porter, ensuring that the healthcare team are fully supported
* Provide admin support to the senior team onsite, including the Head of Healthcare, Business Manager etc.
* Support the senior team with meetings – attending to take minutes, arranging diaries etc.
* Implement processes to improve access to healthcare
* Liaise with internal and external healthcare teams, including hospitals, and community providers
* Support with the recruitment and HR processes
* Work with the clinical team to improve the overall service

Our new Senior Administrator will
* Have admin experience, ideally within healthcare or a prison setting
* Ideally have experience of leading/managing a team – this is not essential
* Have excellent IT skills, including Excel
* Be experienced in minute taking
* Any experience of using a healthcare system (such as SystmOne) would be beneficial
