We're looking for a motivated Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a talented, specialist team of ground engineers in Cardiff. This is a great opportunity to become part of a close-knit team, working on a varied portfolio of projects with plenty of responsibility.
This role would suit an experienced engineer who's keen to take ownership of projects, contribute technically, and play a key role in the continued growth of the team.
The Role
You'll be responsible for delivering a range of geotechnical projects from initial investigation through to design and reporting. The work spans sectors including residential, commercial, and infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and delivering ground investigations
Producing geotechnical design reports and specifications
Overseeing site work and supervising junior engineers
Liaising with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
Providing technical input on foundations, slope stability, and earthworksRequirements
Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or similar
Proven experience in a geotechnical role (typically 5+ years)
Strong understanding of site investigation and geotechnical design
Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff
Working towards or already chartered (ICE or similar)What's on offer
