Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment? Our client, a leading automotive organisation, is seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to oversee their Intercompany and Overheads functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners, enhancing financial transparency and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Budget Control: Manage the total Intercompany budget, ensuring transparency in budget inputs and forecasts while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
R&D Overheads Budget: Take ownership of the R&D overheads budget, controlling expenditures and coordinating the planning process.
Efficiency programmes: Lead business-wide efficiency and improvement initiatives, providing guidance and ensuring clear communication of outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for intercompany matters, particularly regarding cost allocations and transfer pricing within the VW Group.
Reporting and Planning: Oversee intercompany budget reporting and planning in collaboration with AUDI Group, ensuring compliance with internal and external auditing standards.
Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a recognised expert, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and intercompany guidelines.
Leadership Collaboration: Engage with leadership teams to influence decisions, manage risks, and address conflicts effectively.
Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A recognised chartered accounting qualification (ACA, ICAS) with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a finance role.
Proven ability to navigate ambiguous environments and establish effective processes.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for influencing and challenging effectively.
Experience presenting to stakeholders at all levels, including Board level.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to produce comprehensive analyses that support decision-making and identify risks and opportunities.
Experience in a commercial business environment is essential.
