The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Venue Account Manager to join our team as we continue to grow into 2024.
Your role as Venue Account Manager is to showcase the UK’s best venues and meet the increasing demands of our users for top-quality spaces for hire.
You will stay informed about the venues and events scene across the country, ensuring a steady influx of new venues on our platform. Collaborating with our client services team, you will ensure we don’t miss out on key venues and will build relationships with venue groups, PR firms, and associations to keep our venue inventory competitive.
As a professional and engaging point of contact for new venues, you will sell the benefits of our service, negotiate terms, and guide venues through the onboarding process until they are ready to receive enquiries. You will learn to identify which venues thrive on Hire Space and are most popular with our users, prioritizing your efforts accordingly.
Ultimately, you will be an ambassador for great venues at Hire Space, dedicated to representing the best venues in the country to our growing community of event organizers. You will also serve as a public face of Hire Space’s marketing team and an industry ambassador.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage venues about premium listings and marketing campaigns, converting new business
* Create marketing campaigns and promotional strategies for venues
* Manage venue accounts, build value, and drive retention
You should apply if you:
* Have 3 years of successful sales experience
* Have at least 1 year of experience in the events industry working with venues
* Possess first-class sales and account management skills
* Thrive in a culture of continuous learning and feedback
It would be a bonus if you:
* Have extensive knowledge of venues in London
* Have an understanding of modern marketing, including SEO, PPC, and CRM

Logistics
This role is hybrid/in-person. You will work from our Central London office approximately 2-3 days per week, with the possibility of adjustments over time. You should be able to visit venues, clients, and attend team events in London as needed.
