Days shift; 8am - 8pm & Nightshift; 8pm - 8am
£14.95 per hour (£13.45 plus £1.50 market supplement)
Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone who requires support to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!
Each person we support has different support requirements, so your support worker role may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support while expanding their social networks and connections.
Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.
Responsibilities
Support individuals with a range of activities that enable them to achieve their goals and outcomes, including personal care, moving and handling, positive behaviour support and social engagement.
Adapt your communication style to develop successful and enjoyable relationships with the people we support.
Work independently and as part of a team to meet personal support plans and celebrate successes.
Candidate Profile
* Adaptability and empathy when interacting with people with learning disabilities.
* Commitment to work with individuals through personal support plans to ensure goal achievement.
* Positive, flexible outlook and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
Training & Development
