Job Description
Payroll Manager
* Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
* Oversee payroll systems and resolve any discrepancies or technical issues.
* Collaborate with the finance and HR teams to ensure seamless payroll integration.
* Prepare and submit statutory reports, including tax filings and pension contributions.
* Provide guidance and support to wider payroll staff.
* Monitor changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary updates.
* Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data confidentiality.
* Respond to employee payroll queries timely
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Manager should have:
* Strong knowledge of payroll systems and procedures.
* Experience leader
* Happy to adhere to an office based role (Reading)
* Familiarity with payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage and mentor team members effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
