A fantastic opportunity to join a well established firm of solicitors based next to Cheshire Oaks. *Our Firm is a panel member of the Police Federation (Police officers Union). We represent Police Officers that have been involved in work related accidents against the Police.
*\n The vacancy is ideal for a qualified solicitor or senior solicitor with at least 3 years experience in litigation, preferably in EL/OL personal injury. \nResponsibilities include:\n* Managing a caseload of 130-150 Fast/Multi track litigated and pre-litigated personal injury Claims \n* Ability to run a case from Pre-Lit to trial. \n* Ability to work as part of a team, and with supervision, to comply with firm processes \n* Ability to use case management software \n* Drafting Court documents and Witness statements \n* Preparing trial bundles \n* Ensuring cases are run efficiently and court directions are complied with \n* Regularly updating clients \nIdeal Candidate\n* Previous experience in litigation essential \n* Ability to meet strict court deadlines \n* Strong focus on client care and managing members of the public through the court process \n* Strong organisation and time management skills \n* Strong client care skills to assist laypersons navigate the court system \n* strong attention to detail and to spot technical points in Defences and evidence.
