Unit Nurse Manager | £50,000 | 40 Hours per Week | Elderly Care | RGN or RMN
Are you a passionate and experienced nurse leader looking for your next challenge? Our client is looking for a Unit Nurse Manager to take ownership of a nursing unit within their stunning nursing home. This is a rewarding opportunity for a strong RGN or RMN with a background in elderly care and a proven track record in clinical leadership.

What We’re Looking For
* Registered Nurse with active NMC pin (RGN or RMN)
* Significant leadership experience in a nursing home setting (e.g., Senior Nurse, Unit Manager, Deputy Manager)
* Strong clinical knowledge of elderly care, dementia, or mental health needs
* Proven ability to lead, mentor and support a team to deliver high standards
* Confident in managing care plans, audits, medication, and safeguarding procedures
* Strong IT and record-keeping skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and clinical excellence
* Support and supervise nursing and care teams, fostering a positive and inclusive working culture
* Deliver hands-on clinical care and guidance, acting as a role model for best practice
* Build strong relationships with residents and their families, promoting dignity and respect in every interaction
* Monitor care outcomes, lead audits, and drive continuous quality improvement
* Support recruitment, training, and performance development of nursing staff
* Collaborate with wider healthcare professionals and senior leadership to deliver coordinated, person-centred care
