The Role
The school is seeking a professional, organised and approachable Receptionist to manage the front-of-house operations and provide administrative support across the school.
The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming visitors, managing communications and supporting the administration team. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy school environment.
Responsibilities
• Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, staff and students
• Provide a welcoming and professional reception service
• Manage incoming phone calls and email enquiries
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed for all visitors entering the school
• Maintain visitor records and issue visitor badges
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
• Support administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing and document preparation
• Assist with student attendance records and communication with parents
• Provide support to the wider administration team when required
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection policies
• Ensure the reception area remains organised and presentable
Requirements
• Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
