Role Overview Vehicle Paint Sprayer: As a Vehicle Paint Sprayer in Croydon, you will ensure vehicles are repaired to motor manufacturer standards using the latest painting techniques and materials. You will work with a range of paint systems, including: Waterborne basecoats: For environmentally friendly, modern finishing Solvent-based topcoats: For durable, high-gloss finishes Primers, sealers, and fillers: Including epoxy and surfacer primers for optimal adhesion and finish Specialist coatings: Such as clear coats, metallics, pearls, and composites Key Responsibilities: Prepare vehicles for painting, including masking, sanding, and panel preparation Mix paints accurately using computerized scales and paint mixing systems Apply primers, basecoats, and topcoats to manufacturer specifications Use spray booth and drying lamp techniques for flawless finishes Repair composite panels, aluminium, and bonded parts Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace Skills and Experience Required: Previous Bodyshop repair experience Motor manufacturer paint qualifications NVQ Level 3 in Paint & Bodywork Strong knowledge of waterborne technology and modern coating systems Experience with composite and aluminium repair Proficient in bonding, sealer, and filler applications Full UK driving licence Team player with initiative, flexibility, and a proactive attitude Joining ABL 1 Touch means becoming part of a dynamic, supportive, and employee-focused team in Croydon.
