Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to perform at their best while driving restaurant performance and delivering outstanding results.

Responsibilities include:

* Creating a positive environment where your team feels valued and supported, celebrating successes, and nurturing talent.
* Ensuring an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety, and empowering your team with necessary skills and mindset.
* Maintaining spotless food, health, and safety standards, understanding financial aspects such as gross profit, stock control, and labor costs, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Building a coaching culture within your team, collaborating with the Head Chef on recruitment and development, and fostering personal and professional growth.
* Being a proactive problem solver, able to make quick decisions and think on your feet.

What we look for:

* Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced, complex environment.
* Strong communication skills with a caring approach, ensuring your team feels heard and supported.
* Experience maintaining high standards in food safety and health standards.
* Understanding of financial performance metrics such as gross profit and stock control.
* Ability to manage labor costs effectively and adapt to changing demands.
* Leadership qualities that inspire and engage the team, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment.
* Forward-thinking problem-solving skills.
