About the Role
The Compliance Analyst will work with the Client Monitoring Team based in Leeds, reviewing client files related to MCS (Cayman and BVI) businesses to ensure compliance with relevant financial legislation.
Responsibilities
1. Review client files in accordance with risk review periods or triggering events.
2. Communicate with internal teams and clients to gather necessary information promptly.
3. Establish effective communication with lawyers and staff to handle KYC requests efficiently.
4. Follow Enhanced Due Diligence procedures for high-risk cases and escalate as needed.
5. Ensure accurate entry and updates of client information in relevant databases.
6. Support ad hoc requests and projects as required.
Experience & Skills
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in legal or professional services.
* Strong understanding of KYC and AML regulations.
* High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
* Effective communication skills and client interaction confidence.
* Organizational skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge of offshore jurisdictions like Cayman and BVI is preferred.
